Dr. Shivappa Arivu is a historian, writer and social reformer whose work focuses on history, culture, equality and social awareness.
Since 2014, he has been working through Arivu Bharat to create awareness against untouchability and to encourage equality through meaningful community initiatives.
A life dedicated to history & society
Dr. Shivappa Arivu has written extensively in Kannada and English on Indian history, Karnataka, culture, society and heritage. His writings have appeared in newspapers and periodicals and cover a wide range of historical and cultural subjects.
Alongside his literary work, he has devoted himself to social reform. Since 2014, his initiatives have focused on challenging untouchability and encouraging people to experience equality in homes, temples, schools and public spaces.
